Jazz vocalist Sara Jones, first place winner of the Billie Holiday Vocal Competition, has toured in 49 states and performed in numerous concert halls across the country.

Sara has performed as a soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, and Boston Pops Orchestra. In the Baltimore/Washington area, Jones was a featured vocalist with the Jazz Ambassadors and has graced the stages of the Hippodrome Theater, Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, Strathmore Mansion, and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Jones, who began her musical career as a pianist, received her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at St. Mary’s College of Maryland and her Master of Music in Piano Accompanying at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. After graduation, she chose to pursue a professional vocal career with the Soldiers’ Chorus of the U.S. Army Field Band, where she served for six years. Now a civilian, Jones maintains an active performing schedule and has recently released her debut CD, Daydream A Little on Petite Musique Records. A collection of beloved jazz standards and bossa novas, it features Jones and major Brazilian Jazz Group, Trio Da Paz. Jones’ schedule can be found on her website, sarajones.com.

Also an active educator, Jones is a professor at Towson University where she teaches Jazz and Commercial Voice and directs the Towson Vocal Jazz Ensemble.

Mike Noonan is originally from Silver Spring, Maryland. He holds degrees in jazz studies and composition from Berklee College of Music (B.Mus. Magna Cum Laude) and the University of North Texas (M.M.). Mike is a multi-instrumentalist performing on vibraphone, marimba, piano, and trombone. An experienced composer and arranger, his works have been featured on multiple UJE recordings as well as recordings of other jazz artists. Mike is an Innovative Percussion mallet artist, and a two-time recipient of the Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Awards. He provides clinics in jazz improvisation and composition and has served as faculty at several colleges and universities.

Lynn Roxy is a member of the Maryland Entertainment Hall of Fame.

She is well-known for fronting the popular classic rock band, “THE FABULOUS HUBCAPS” where she covered lead vocals, keyboard, sax, and flute. She is also a faculty member at the Community Colleges of Baltimore County and teaches both jazz and classical piano. Prior to the “Hubcaps,” Lynn was a featured performer on CRUISE SHIPS throughout the U.S. and Europe playing all styles of music. She is currently the CEO of Roxy Piano Lessons, an innovative company teaching piano online and in person at her studios in Maryland and Florida.
